Do you pick up and drop off at locations other than the student’s home?

Yes! Express Driving School instructors will pick up and drop off at any location within our service areas.  Locations may include, but not limited to: schools, workplaces, friend’s house, etc.  Pick up location can also differ from drop off location if prior arrangements are made with Express Driving School.

 

How do I schedule an appointment?

Submit an Appointment Request Form with your personal information and availability.  Express Driving School will contact you within 1-2 business days to schedule the first available appointment that best fits your schedule.

 

How do I pay for the lessons?

Full payment is due at the time of the first lesson. Acceptable methods of payment are cash, check (made payable to Express Driving School), or any major credit card.  You will receive a receipt for payment from your instructor.

 

Will I be in the car by myself with the instructor during my lesson, or will there be other students in the car?

All behind-the-wheel lessons are individual to provide you with one-to-one training from the instructor.  There are no other students present during your lessons.

 

Do I need a learner’s permit to schedule behind-the-wheel lessons?

Yes, you will need a learner’s permit to schedule driving lessons from Express Driving School.

TEEN DRIVERS

 

How many hours of behind-the-wheel training are teens required to take for the DMV?

Teens are required to take 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training from a DMV licensed driving school.

 

Do you provide a certificate of completion and is there an additional charge for the certificate? 

Free of charge, the instructor will issue a certificate of completion to the student after the completion of 6 hours behind-the-wheel training.  There is only a charge if the certificate is lost or destroyed and a replacement certificate is needed ($20.00 fee).

 

Is it necessary for parents to be present when students are picked up and dropped off?

No, it is not mandatory for parents/guardians to be present for first lessons or during pick up or drop off.  Although our instructors prefer to meet parents, Express Driving School understands the busy schedule for families and will communicate any information through the student if parents/guardians are not available.
